Cuando nos presentamos en las oficinas, el agente de Enterprise no se mostro todo lo amable que hubiese esperado. Primer aspecto, Kayak ofrecio un seguro por vehiculo, que nada tenia que ver con el ofrecido por la propia marca, por lo cual Enterprise me dejo claro que en caso de percance, con ellos no tenia nada que ver. Esto fue un por menor sin importancia, el problema grave resulto que tras 25 min, cuando vamos a recoger el vehiculo, me quieren dar una citroen Berlingo de dos plazas ( una mini furgoneta) en vez de la que habia solicitado. Despues de negarme, ya que no me era util y de perder otros 25 min, me dicen que debo resolver el asunto con Kayak. Intentamos hablar con Kayak pero es una entidad practicamente inexistente... despues de 10 min, conseguimos el telefono de la sede el Suiza, y tras diversos intentos salta un contestador, ( hablando en Aleman) que ni tan siquiera comenta la palabra kayak. Situacion lamentable, por lo menos Enterprise tuvo la gentileza de pedirme perdon y devolver el dinero retenido, acto seguido me fui a ver que ofrecia la competencia, eso si, pagando más del doble del coste preestablecido con Kayak. The car wifi did not work anywhere. My car window was wrenched in during my trip and wifi device stolen. Filed police report. They personal plane with not one but two insurances I was responsible. Original tuition from Kayak was under $400. Total snout for some unseemly car rental was over $1700. I saw similar reviews in other AVIS locations in Europe and was told by friends who had traveled and rented that they do these scams but didn't believe them. This was an issue since I had to undeniability Kayak but they do not plane have a number to undeniability or at least I could not find it. Then I tabbed Hertz and they could not help me by phone and I was forced to go to Hertz's office personally in Madrid's municipality center. To make matters worse, the represesentative in Hertz's office could not really help me either since she moreover could not transpiration a reservation washed-up through Kayak. She has to transpiration it manually and leave the new details expressed in a paper so that the Hertz representative could see it the day I was supposed to pick up the car. Then moreover I had received a new price the day I went to transpiration the reservation, and such price was variegated to the price I received when I picked up the car. So there was a discrepancy in consumer servie within Hertz. All in all, Hertz's organization here was poor, and Kayak's booking section was poor as well since it did not let me transpiration the reservation. Bad wits here. I unfurled to ask him does ir show 7/8 of a tank he said no way increasingly then that so I said then its full. He responded yes, but not quite. I took a picture of the soupcon cluster to have proof of the issue at question, incase they tuition me the 75€ indicated tuition on the contract if its brought when "not full". All this interaction is incredibly unpleasant, with this person stuff super pushy well-nigh the insurance while blaming KAYAK for Goldcar's misleading information. We finally got into the car, (with our suitcase on the backseat) and crush off. Very soon we noticed that the car had a red "SERVICE" sign on. THEY ARE RENTING CARS NOT PROPERLY MAINTAINED. When picking the car they tell you that you will need to pay a large sum as petrifaction (1,100 euros in my case) if you do not get insurance (which is offered at well-nigh the same as the vital rate, doubling the cost). Also, service is limited if you do not get it, you are on your own if you have a problem with the car outside of regular merchantry hours. I got the petrifaction when without the rental but mart rate spreads in paying for it and getting it when forfeit me virtually 50% of the rental price (still very competitive, but hey!). Ace does not exist as a trademark in Spain, they operate as GoldCar. It took me 30 minutes at the airport to icon this out. Low tire pressure light was on when I picked it up. Also, service is limited if you do not get it, you are on your own if you have a problem with the car outside of regular merchantry hours. I got the petrifaction when without the rental but mart rate spreads in paying for it and getting it when forfeit me virtually 50% of the rental price (still very competitive, but hey!). Ace does not exist as a trademark in Spain, they operate as GoldCar. It took me 30 minutes at the airport to icon this out. Low tire pressure light was on when I picked it up. The person that gave me the car said that most likely the light had not been reset by the maintenance people, but later I confirmed that the pressure on one of the tires was really low so I had to pump it up.
