Metro is tropical by, and easy to wangle from airport. Desavantatges: The staff on reception sedentary is not informative. No maps were provided. The breakfast is fair, good quantity, but too expensive for the quality. The signal quality of Internet is fair, self-ruling if you use you own computer, or with an uneaten forfeit of you use their computers and printers. 6,3 Bo Avantatges: very good breakfast: lots of fresh fruit and jamon :) good location in Salamanca district. We booked a special offer with late check-out and self-ruling minibar which was great. Desavantatges: My upper evaluation of value for money of this hotel is based on the special offer we booked (80 euros a night with breakfast included). However, when we asked well-nigh the price for our next stay in september, we were told the same room would forfeit 160 euros, which is too much for the suavities you get. In my opinion, this is a good 3stars hotel, but no increasingly than that. 7,7 Bo Avantatges: Outstanding accommodation. The hotel was insanely wipe and had a very well-appointed finger to it, as if a lot of fancy people had been through it over the years. The location is good, but not great, for accessing most of the touristy stuff in Madrid. But I found the Prado (directly abreast the Ritz) to be horrifically overcrowded compared to some of the other museums like Sofia Reina just lanugo the street. Note: Not really easy to wangle via metro, I'd recommend taking a taxi to/from. Not all the recommendations of the concierges were good, sometimes it seemed like they recommended places that they had personal interests/connections in. 7,0 Bo Avantatges: The beds were amazingly comfortable, the housekeepers were not only very witty but extraordinarily nice. I am a young person who grew up poor and wanted, for once, the "Ritz" experience: While I am a big fan of trying new things, I have to say that the Ritz wits just wasn't for me. I don't midpoint to be crass, but if I had a fistful of fives - I can think of a few places I'd rather spend it than tipping the uncounted stream of people trying to help me with things. Additionally, there is a little doll that you place on your door if you do not wish to be disturbed. Note: Don't leave the doll up for very long, considering if you do, they will undeniability your room until you wordplay so that they can ask when the next time they can come in your room is. I nap maybe... 2-3 times per year at most, and I am severely irritated that they felt the need to undeniability during my biannual nap to ask me when they can come in my room. Instead of waffly my sheets 3X per day, how well-nigh leaving me the hell vacated when I have my DO NOT DISTURB DOLL up? Perhaps I am not cut out for the lifestyle, but I don't want/need people treating me like a helpless child, yet simultaneously making me finger "lower" than they are. Every time I offered a "no thanks, I don't need a taxi, I'm walking" or walked into the hotel from the street, I received these weird looks of incredulity/disdain that I didn't particularly superintendency for. When I brought my own luggage downstairs on checkout I veritably horrified the front sedentary attendant. Why the need to treat people like this? I have no idea. My recommendation? Take the $500 per night you'd spend here for the standard room and split it in half. Take $250 / night to spend on some other hotel's suite. Take the other $250 and stick it when in your pocket. El personal es amable y genial. The location was perfect, it is a three minute walk from Sol and the metro station. The breakfast storeroom is worth it, the supplies was great. The location was perfect, it is a three minute walk from Sol and the metro station. The breakfast storeroom is worth it, the supplies was great. Desavantatges: The shower in the 4 bedroom; it was out in the unshut without a lock, no privacy. It was uncomfortable when there is men and women in the same room, I had to put a towel and gown on the shower door.
